Overcoming Drug Addiction Among the beneficiaries of DJ Karri's support is DJ Mujava, renowned for his chart-topping hit King of Bacardi. Recent images of DJ Mujava in distress on the streets of Tshwane had sparked concerns among fans and industry insiders alike. However, thanks to DJ Karri's intervention, DJ Mujava has taken the first steps towards reclaiming his life.
On 23 February, DJ Karri accompanied DJ Mujava to the Anti-Drugs Gangsterism and Crime Rehabilitation Centre in Seshego, Limpopo. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of DJ Mujava's journey towards recovery and rehabilitation. Guided by Karri's support, the King of Bacardi aims to conquer drug addiction and regain prominence in the music industry.

Hope For DJ Mujava's Redemption Amidst the challenges and uncertainties, one voice of unwavering optimism emerges-Rose Maswanganyi, Mujava's mother. Despite the heartbreaking realisation of her son's struggles with addiction, Rose remains steadfast in her belief in his potential for redemption.
In an interview with Scrolla Africa, Rose reminisces about the joyous moments they shared as mother and son. Despite the hardships they've faced, Rose's love for her son remains unshaken. Rose remains hopeful, believing in the 39-year-old's resilience to overcome adversity and emerge stronger in the future.
DJ Mujava in The Music Industry DJ Mujava rose to prominence with his track TOWNSHIP FUNK, a global dance sensation in 2007. The song, known for its infectious rhythm, drew from martial snare drums reminiscent of the local kwaito music style. It featured an ominous synthetic bass drone, captivating listeners with its unique fusion.
