National Boston s Video Transfer Unit Joins Picturepark Network

Aarau, Switzerland - 27 August 2014 - The Picturepark digital asset management (DAM) partner network expanded today with the addition of Video Transfer, a division of Nation Boston. Video Transfer provides audio/video conversion, duplication and distribution services for film, video and digital media.

In the 28 years since Video Transfer was founded, the company has built a clientele of organizations that have considerable video archives. The need to manage those large repositories is what lead Video Transfer Chief Technical Officer, Nash Bly, to Picturepark.

While working to find a digital asset management system for a major investment company, a DAM analyst recommended Picturepark, he explained. Picturepark wasn't the first DAM I've ever seen; but it was definitely the first DAM I've seen that is affordable and easy to use, while also being suitable for a Fortune 500-sized company.

Recognizing that Picturepark could benefit more than just one of his customers, Bly sought a partnership to resell the Swiss DAM software.
