Amazon Restaurants Launches Free One-Hour Delivery on Prime Now in Miami

Prime members in Miami can now enjoy delivery from local restaurants, including Baires Grill, Brother Jimmy's BBQ, La Provence, Madero, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink, Morgans Restaurant, Spris, and many more

Amazon Restaurants offers free one-hour delivery to Prime members with no menu markups; Customers pay the same price as they do at the restaurant or Amazon will refund the price of the item

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun. 7, 2016-- Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced that Prime members in Miami can now enjoy free one-hour delivery from local restaurants, including Baires Grill, Brother Jimmy's BBQ, La Provence, Madero, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink, Morgans Restaurant, Spris, and many more. Using the Prime Now mobile app or by visiting the new Prime Now website, Miami customers can view participating restaurants, browse menus, place orders, track the status of their delivery, and watch as their delivery driver travels from the restaurant to the delivery address in real time.

Miami's rich culture and vibrant restaurant scene makes it the ideal place to try new restaurants and cuisines from around the world, said Gus Lopez, general manager, Amazon Restaurants. We are excited to expand Amazon Restaurants into Miami, providing Prime members across Miami with a free one-hour delivery option from some of the city's best local restaurants.

Once an order is placed, Amazon delivery partners deliver the food in an hour or less. Amazon Restaurants offers customers transparent pricing-there are no menu markups or hidden service fees and delivery on all orders is free for Prime members. If a customer finds a restaurant item that is priced higher than the regularly-priced item on the restaurant's current online menu within 24 hours of placing the order, Amazon will refund the customer the price of the item.
