It's been a banner year for the WNBA. Ratings are up, the postseason has been thrilling, and the league is loaded with a fun mix of veterans and rising stars.
This was also the 25th anniversary of the league and its primary broadcast rightsholder, ESPN, has enjoyed numerous opportunities to tell cool stories during live broadcasts about the history of the league.
