05 projects of ree-year Action Plan published

2015 is a critical year for Ningbo to implement the three-year transformation development of economy and society. The annual project plan was published on Jan 28. The first batch include 521 major projects, with a total investment of 1084.8 billion yuan. The annual investment of 2015 is expected to be 162.7 billion yuan. The second batch of major projects will be planned soon, with an annual investment of 200 billion yuan.

The water treatment will have 66 projects, with an annual actual investment of 11.65 billion yuan, including the construction of the anti-flood bank of Yaojiang, the rebuilding of the drainage system in the city and water-providing in Chunxiao Meishan.

The modern industry incubation projects will give priority to strategic emerging industry, like port logistics and E-commerce. 204 projects have been planned, with an annual investment of 67.27 billion yuan, including Ningbo Universe Square project. Other projects also include modern agricultural park, the expansion of Shanghai Volkswagen, E-commerce city, the global supplying chain of ZTE and China-Italian ecological industrial park.

The old city will be upgraded and the new city will be developed. An three-dimensional traffic network will be built. 106 projects will be designed to upgrade the city function. The total investment will amount to 43.73 billion yuan. The planned projects include the first section No.2 metro line, Xinjiang Bridge, Yinfeng Riverside business buildings, the upgrading of state and provincial highways, the expansion of public parking lot, and Zhongxing Bridge, etc.

The focus of peoples well-being will be on ecological environment protection and treatment, the forestation and beautification of city landscape and the rebuilding of shanty areas, etc. 103 projects have been arranged, with a total investment of 25.22 billion yuan. Projects like Ningbo Education Technological Research Center and Huaqing environmental protection mud treatment will be built. The landscape of three rivers and six banks will be upgraded.

42 projects of public infrastructure have been arranged, which mainly include ocean and railway transportation, highway, sea port and airport, clean energy, and so on. The planned investment is about 14.84 billion yuan.
