DHD Audio Appoints PCI as Distribution Partner for Brazil

DHD audio, a globally active developer of digital mixing, production and contribution systems for broadcast and online applications, announces the appointment of Padilha Consulting Inc (PCI) as its distribution partner for Brazil.

Based in Miami, PCI was established in 2022 by Luiz Padilha and builds on his nearly 40 years of experience in executive roles at Sony. Initially managing Sony Professional Brazil, he joined Sony Electronics Professional Solutions Latin America in 2006 as director of sales & marketing, advancing to vice president (2011-2018) and president (2018-2022).

PCI will promote the scalable architecture of DHD systems as part of the Alliance Technologies exhibit on booth 10 at the 19-21 August SET Expo 2025 show in S o Paulo. The presentations will include demonstrations of DHD's budget-friendly SX2 and ultra-compact TX2 audio mixers plus the XS3 processor with multi I/O.

The SX2 is a modular console based on a four-fader central module. Also available is a fader module with six motorised faders which allows the addition of a second layer accommodating up to 16 channels. Central and fader modules each incorporate a 10.1 inch multi-touch display showing relevant configuration and operating parameters. SX2 features can be extended simply by adding optional license codes allowing extra faders, busses and clean feeds.

The TX2 provides access to many features within a very small footprint, just 25.8 cm wide by 27 cm front-to-back. Its forward-sloping tabletop panel includes a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch IPS display, two assignable potentiometers and six silent multicolour hardware buttons, allowing professional audio mixing.

Cores form the heart of every DHD system by processing all the audio as well as connecting control surfaces. They also perform input/output routing and interfacing with the outside world. IP audio feeds as well as IP-connected remote device control can be closely integrated. Automated workflows and product virtualisation are also supported. Occupying just 1U of rack space, the XS3 is designed to allow fast and easy configuration. More advanced settings can be selected using DHD's Toolbox configuration software which can be activated via an optional license.

PCI will also demonstrate DHD's Assist app, a browser-based application which allows a secure network-connected technician to provide onsite or remote support for presenters during their daily production activity.
