Entertainment blogger Jabu Mcdonald has revealed that The River actor Thapelo Sebogodi has joined the cast of House of Zwide.

THAPELO SEBOGODI: NEW ROLE IN HOUSE OF ZWIDE' The e.tv fashion drama, House of Zwide also confirmed that The River actor Thapelo Sebogoi has joined the show by sharing a clip of the actor on the show.

In the clip, Sebogodi is seen having a business meeting with actor Wanda Zuma, who potrays the role of Nkosi Zwide.

Sebogodi is the second actor from The River to join the popular fashion drama this season after actress Tsholo Mashaba, who portrays the character of Mampho's (Gaisang Noge) mother.

It is unclear at this stage if Sebogodi how long The River, star will stay with the fashion drama and which role he will play.

THE RIVER' CANCELLED DStv reported earlier this year that the multi-award-winning telenovela, The River which airs on 1Magic is coming to an end after six seasons.

Co-creator Phathu Makwarela from Tshedza Pictures production confirmed the show is ending on his social media account.

Join us for our last season. The farewell season., tweeted the award-winning producer.

Shirley Adonisi, who is the director of local entertainment channels at Mnet also confirmed the cancellation of the telenovela.

At M-Net local entertainment channels we would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the cast and crew of The River for a memorable five years. Their hard work, dedication, and brilliance have led to the telenovela's success. The final season is going to be the show's most epic one yet. The drama will be bigger and better, setting the stage for the ultimate finale.

The River will reportedly end in February 2024!
