The ruthless and cold-blooded Bryanston hit that was caught on CCTV footage has left people in utter shock.
As reported by Times Live, 59-year-old Ivan Djordevic was executed in a brutal fashion, in the Highbury residential complex on Tuesday afternoon.
What investigators know about the assassination It is believed that Djordjevic was of Eastern European origin. However, investigators have not been able to piece anything else together about the victim.
The footage showed the victim pulling out of his parking lot in a black Mercedes Benz when another car, a BMW, blocked his path and two men got out with weapons.

The two suspects unleashed a hail of bullets at Djordjevic who attempted to flee the scene on foot. However, the suspects were quick to give chase and gun him down a few metres away.
The suspects ran back to the BMW and fled the scene, leaving the 59-year-old soaking in his own blood.
The getaway vehicle was later found burned to ashes in an open field in Bryanston. Investigators believe that the suspects had torched the car and fled on foot.
Police seek assistance from the public The quality of the CCTV footage was too grainy to assist investigators with the identity of the suspects. Moreover, it is not certain, at this point, whether there was any forensic evidence found in the debris of the burned BMW.
Police spokesperson, Captain Mavela Masondo, issued a plea to people with useful information, calling on them to step forward and assist in bringing some sense to this brutal crime.

The police are appealing to anyone who might have information that can help in apprehending the suspects or in the investigation to please contact the nearest police station or crime stop on 086-001-0111, Masondo said.
