Bremen, Germany, 06th April 2016 IABM judges recognized Cube-Tec for its outstanding achievements with the product IMF Legalizer

Cube-Tec International, a leading supplier of automated MXF file correction systems, has been identified by the IABM initial judging panel as one of the leading products to be exhibited at NAB Show 2016 in the category: Test, Quality Control & Monitoring.

With the IABM Award, solutions are honoured that offer significant benefits and new opportunities to the broadcast and media industry. Category winner results and awards will be presented at the Awards Reception on Tuesday 19th April from 5pm in S231 at the LVCC.

The purpose of IMF Legalizer is the correction of IMF packages to achieve compliance to the IMF standard to secure interoperability. IMF Legalizer is the industry first product for quality control and automated rule-based correction of Interoperable-Master-Format-(IMF)-packages. To fix issues with non-compliant MXF-container, JPEG 2000 code streams and XML-data, IMF Legalizer combines a rigorous QC concept with a lossless data correction procedure.

The Interoperable Master Format (IMF) is an emerging SMPTE standard for the exchange of final film master files in a mezzanine format used for the downstream transcoding to all the required distribution format and language versions.

The IMF standard was developed with the aim to simplify the quality control of produced media files by externalizing the metadata management out of the MXF wrapper into XML based files.

Cube-Tec will exhibit in the NAB Labs Futures Park area in the South Upper Hall at SU16013.
