Returned Zhejiang entrepreneurs investing in Ningbo

Recently, at the 2016 Returned Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention held in Beijing, 30 major projects invested by the returned Zhejiang entrepreneurs were signed, and three of them would settle down in Ningbo, with a total investment volume of three billion yuan. As a province strong in private economy, Zhejiang Province has entrepreneurs and businesses all over the world. Statistics show that the eight million businesses of Zhejiang origin each year produce a wealth that almost equals to the GDP of the whole province. The "Returned Zhejiang Entrepreneurs" project, one of the major measures of the provinces transformation and upgrading, has attracted a number of returned entrepreneurs to invest in the businesses in Zhejiang Province in recent years. In Ningbo, the returned entrepreneurs have become an effective force for investment. In recent years, the investment projects by the returned entrepreneurs have been on the rise. The latest statistics show that in the first half of the year, there were 302 projects by the returned entrepreneurs, with an actual capital of 44.421 billion yuan, up by 24.97% over the same period of last year. Among others, the industrial return investment reached 32.564 billion yuan, while the capital return investment reached 11.857 billion yuan. "We hope the return could be a high-quality one rather than just a program." said a person in charge from Ningbo Economic Cooperation Bureau. In recent years, with the concept of the supply-front structure reform, Ningbo has promoted its structural optimization from the supply end by attracting high-quality investment, and strengthened the policy, space and service supplies to make up the weakness of the urban development. The optimized industrial structure and urban environment have attracted groups of returned entrepreneurs to make investments in forms of "industrial return", "headquarters return" and "capital return".
