Together with RUE Beltelecom the company TransTeleCom organized the shortest route for Internet traffic transit to Europe 18.08.2016

The company TransTeleCom and RUE Beltelecom, the largest telecommunication operator in the Republic of Belarus, have launched a new optimal IP-traffic route from Frankfurt to Moscow.

Within the inter-operator interaction the company TransTeleCom opened a new trunk route with a bandwidth of 240 Gbit/s for transmission of international traffic from Germany to Russia. Its shortest geographical extent allows to reduce the delay time up to 34 ms. Belarusian operator Beltelecom provided 24 communication channels to the largest traffic exchange point in Frankfurt for the implementation of the project.

The route, organized by TransTeleCom, will become an alternative to the two already existing ones. Alongside with the specified route, the international market actively uses the Northern route from St. Petersburg to Stockholm and the Southern one, extending in the direction Moscow-Frankfurt via Ukraine. The expanding of the overseas network segment allows TTK to increase the possible range of services and ensure reliable reservation of access channels.

The volume of Internet traffic in TransTeleCom network grows, which requires the development of trunk channels network to European points of presence of the company.
