The NFL announced on Wednesday that the Pro Bowl Games will move to Super Bowl Week and will be staged as an exclusively televised event for the first time. The 2026 edition of the Pro Bowl Games will originate from the Moscone Center in San Francisco, which will be transformed into a custom-built flag football arena designed for broadcast.

The NFL is moving the Pro Bowl Games inside to San Francisco's Moscone Center in 2026. The league released this rendering of the stage in a press release announcing the event.

The 7-on-7 AFC vs. NFC matchup will air live on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN, Disney XD, and ESPN Deportes, following a one-hour pregame special beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

By relocating the Pro Bowl Games indoors and tying them directly to Super Bowl Week, the NFL and ESPN are effectively turning the event into a controlled-production showcase - a live sports studio show packaged as an all-star game.

The Moscone Center setup promises a fresh visual identity for the Pro Bowl Games. The NFL and ESPN production teams will reimagine the convention venue as a compact, camera-friendly flag football field complete with 50-yard playing surface, 10-yard end zones, and dynamic lighting and staging.

The indoor setting not only gives producers the ability to control every angle, sound, and shot - it also establishes a precedent for how the league can showcase flag football's speed and athleticism ahead of its Olympic debut at LA28 in which NFL players have been permitted to compete.

This will not only be an exciting showcase of our best talent, but also a taste of the elite athleticism and dynamic action we can expect to see on the Olympic stage, said Peter O'Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President of Events, International and Club Business.

In addition to the Tuesday night flag matchup, ESPN will produce a suite of shoulder programming to anchor Super Bowl week, including a Pro Bowl preview show on Sunday, Feb. 1, with NFL Live at 11 a.m. ET and additional Pro Bowl Games content on ABC at noon.
