Industry Alert: Are you attending Sunny Side of the Doc?

Screen Australia and a number of state screen agencies are working together to support a delegation of Australian factual and documentary producers to attend this year's Sunny Side of the Doc, being held 23 26 June, 2014 in La Rochelle, France.

After 25 years, Sunny Side of the Doc has become an important international marketplace for documentaries and a base for 300 commissioners and high-level buyers, 120 distributors and 2,000 professionals from around 60 countries.

Please contact your local state screen agency directly to find out if travel funding is available.

Self-funded Australian filmmakers are also welcome to travel under the banner of the Australian delegation.

All Australian delegates will have the opportunity to:

consult with an international documentary expert prior to the market

attend organised peer-to-peer events

attend the Sunny Side of the Doc Working With workshop

make use of a designated Australian meeting place

access a reduced registration fee.

Screen Australia will be producing a delegate's directory Australia at Sunny Side of the Doc, which will include company and project information and will be distributed to up to 2000 Sunny Side delegates.

It will be a key resource for international delegates wishing to do business with Australian companies. In addition, we are working with Sunny Side to facilitate targeted business opportunities for Australian producers attending the market.
