Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., and INSIGHT TV have announced at MIPCOM 2017 a partnership that will bring premium Ultra-High Definition (UHD) and High Dynamic Range (HDR) content from INSIGHT TV to Samsung TV PLUS viewers in Europe.
Through this new partnership, Samsung Smart TV users will be able to access up to 500 hours worth of original UHD content, featuring sports, entertainment and lifestyle programming, through the services easy to navigate interface. The content will be free of charge for Samsung TV PLUS users and will be available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom from early 2018.
Samsung TV PLUS, which has been available for Samsung Smart TV users in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom from June 2017, delivers a unique and user-friendly experience. Featuring a scrolling channel menu, it allows consumers to easily access content similar to the interface of a traditional cable or satellite TV. With the ease and simplicity of Samsung TV PLUS, retrieving UHD and HDR content is more enjoyable than ever and removes the struggle of searching for content across multiple applications.
