Datos Media has made in Movistar one of the most advanced broadcast systems installations in Spain Therefore, the experiences in integration of Datos Media Technologies and quality of Avid products have been chosen for this project.

Movistar+, the Telefonica s pay TV platform and leader in Spain, stakes for offer to their clients the better contents with latest technology and custom usage experience. The correct integration of this new technologies is crucial, since it can t only affect the current production but could be affected in the future. Therefore, the experiences in integration of Datos Media Technologies and quality of Avid products have been chosen for this project.

On this occasion, Movistar + has updated the production systems of the Sports and Programs departments. In this renovation, Datos Media has had the opportunity to integrate the first Avid Nexis system with E5 engines, a system that perfectly covers the production needs required for this project. Avid Interplay Capture and MOG Technologies systems, as well as the Avid MediaCentral UX production platform, allow easy, distributed and remote editing for ingestion flows. The entire system has been virtualized under a VMware platform and with a 40Gb switching core.

With the integration of this system, it is possible to perform more than 24 material ingests simultaneously and have more than 120 Media Composer clients working with resolutions of DNxHD120 and DnxHR in 4K. Therefore it s gained in power, performance, versatility, security and accessibility.

Datos Media and Telefonica Servicios Audiovisuales have made one of the most advanced broadcast systems installations in terms of resources and potential is referred in Spanish territory.
