The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), in partnership with BlueFrame Technology, announced Thursday the creation of the GLVC Sports Network Apple TV app on the 4th Generation device.
The GLVCSN Apple TV app, which is now available as a free download in the tvOS App Store, offers a new and customized viewing experience to GLVC regular season and championship content produced by the 16 member institutions and the Conference office.
The app is also integrated with Siri, so now GLVC fans can launch the app by simply saying, GLVCSN . The live-first app design provides GLVC fans easy access to the most timely content from across the entire network. Each member institution has its own channel in the app, and the user-configurable interface allows viewers to efficiently search through thousands of archived broadcasts.
As GLVCSN continues to evolve, we are focused on developing various platforms on which our fans can view our streamed content, says GLVC Commissioner Jim Naumovich. The GLVCSN Apple TV app is just the first of a number of new digital solutions created by our partner BlueFrame Technology to enhance the way our fans can follow their schools.
GLVCSN was launched in 2014 as the first NCAA Division II conference-wide digital network, focused on highlighting the athletic and academic success of its student-athletes while enhancing the GLVC brand to fans, friends, and families as well as past, current and future students.

The content distributed through the GLVCSN Apple TV app leverages BlueFrame's end-to-end digital network solution. The platform includes:
BlueFrame's proprietary live production and streaming software comes complete with four camera HD switching, four camera instant replay, sport specific graphics, social media sharing tools, and more. GLVCSN capitalizes on Production Truck's customizable graphics to consistently brand all of their broadcasts. The social media sharing tools in Production Truck allow producers to easily capture and share highlights from the full production to promote their live streams in real time and engage new audiences.
BlueFrame's cloud content management system provides the tools to put the GLVCSN brand first. Broadcast poster image, network lead-in, and content aggregation are all configurable by broadcast, by member institution, or for the whole network. GLVCSN leverages the network lead-in to have a member from each member institution welcome their viewership into every broadcast. vCloud provides the flexibility for each institution within the GLVC to select the service that meets their cost and quality goals.
GLVCSN broadcasts can be viewed on desktop, on mobile, and now on internet-connected television devices anywhere in the world. GLVCSN is available live and immediately archived for on demand viewership. This means fans of GLVCSN can watch whenever, wherever, and on their platform of choice.
By utilizing BlueFrame's end-to-end service, GLVCSN benefits from the seamless integration. When a broadcast is scheduled, it is immediately available for their producers in Production Truck as well as for viewers on all of their GLVCSN branded presences.
