Ster-Kinekor brings big screen to Ilanga with state-of-the-art cinemas --

The wait is finally over as South Africa s leading cinema chain launches a new, state- of-the-art cinema complex at the I langa Mall in Nelspruit. Ster-Kinekor is scheduled to open the doors of the luxurious six-cinema complex to the public, with the first screenings from 21 September 2017. The opening is in time with the long-awaited Heritage Day weekend and this will create an exciting new entertainment option for the Nelspruit community.
This exciting addition to the entertainment offering that forms part of the expansion to the I langa Mall is sure to entice movie lovers from the greater Nelspruit community. The cinemas are a welcome attraction to the area, and Ster-Kinekor is committed to living up to its customer promise of delivering Great Moments at their Greatest , says, Motheo Matsau - chief of marketing and sales of Ster-Kinekor Theatres.
As we countdown to the official opening of the state-of-the-art cinemas, we invite the public to enjoy the very latest blockbusters on the big screen in the comfort of our cinemas. Each cinema is fitted with the very latest in digital projection to generate a crisp, clear picture quality and surround sound through the advanced speaker system, to ensure an exceptional cinema experience.
The complex also offers Ster-Kinekor s innovative self-service ticketing and catering terminals. Here, customers can buy their movie tickets and select, order and pay for their catering choices via the terminals, before heading to the catering counter to collect their order. The terminals ensure a streamlined process enabling customers to purchase their tickets and catering with minimal queuing time, before heading into one of the cinemas to watch their movie of choice.
Another exciting addition to our complex here at I langa Mall is the introduction of our VIP Premium cinema offering, in the form of a luxurious Cine Prestige theatre, comments Matsau.
Cinema meets Luxury at Cine Prestige
Cine Prestige is the luminary cinema offering, and epitomises film-viewing heaven and pure luxury rolled into one. The 39-seater Cine Prestige cinema offers an exclusive VIP Lounge area. Here, customers can order delicious gourmet platters, a selection of alcohol beverages, imported coffees and decadent cakes.
All this, of course, in addition to the mandatory soft drink or slush and Ster-Kinekor s delicious freshly-popped popcorn, which can also be served to you at your cinema seat, while you are enjoying the movie.
The large red leather seats are fully-reclinable at the touch of a button, and ooze lavish comfort. Each chair is fitted with a snack tray for the platters and refreshments.

I langa Mall movie-lovers will also enjoy all the benefits and discounts available through membership of the exclusive loyalty programmes associated with Ster- Kinekor. SK Club members can swipe their cards to enjoy half-price movies on Tuesdays, the chance to earn points with catering combos and can earn double points on Thursdays, enter exciting competitions and promotions, and enjoy invitations to exclusive events.
With Discovery s Vitality programme, children under 18 enjoy movies for free until 19h00, while Edgars Club members enjoy a buy one, get one free ticket deal per club member per day. With all these great deals, and saving options, what s not to love about going to the movies!
