Cobalt Digital Wins Future's Best of Show Award for COBALT WAVE Remote Control Panel Series

Best of Show Award Presented by AVTechnology at InfoCommOrlando, Florida - June 17, 2025 - Cobalt Digital, the leading designer and manufacturer of award-winning signal processing products and a founding partner in the openGear initiative, is pleased to announce that its COBALT WAVE remote control panel series is the recipient of Future's Best of Show award, presented at InfoComm 2025 by AVTechnology. The award is another confirmation of the value Cobalt products bring to the AV community.

Future's Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, perceived value and application in serving the industry. The products nominated for the Best of Show program, provide an outstanding overview of new technology on the show floor and shine a spotlight on the very best in professional AV, said the awards editorial team.

The fully featured winning panel series, developed to support COBALT WAVE RTR-64 64 and COBALT WAVE RTR-36 36 crosspoint routers, earned high praise for its unprecedented flexibility, ease of use & integration. The growing family of panels includes two available sizes, COBALT WAVE CP-44, COBALT WAVE CP-42L in 1RU and COBALT WAVE 78 and COBALT WAVE 84L models in 2RU. The CP-42L and 84L units feature back lit buttons with a wide array of background colors to choose from, and all units feature an Ethernet port with PoE capability for power and IP based communication, redundant power supplies, and support a number of common protocols.

Another notable feature of the Cobalt panels is their easy-to-use open API. For those with specialized requirements, users can run their own code directly on the panel itself. This ensures functions can be tailored to fulfill any, and all, specific needs.
