San Francisco, CA - 22 October 2013 - David Diamond, global marketing director for digital asset management (DAM) software vendor Picturepark , has been asked to present at Information Today's Internet Librarian 2013 Conference in Monterey, California on October 29. Diamond will discuss ways in which librarians and other information professionals can use their skills and experience to help organizations improve their digital asset management initiatives.
The advice and guidance of an information professional is the most important secret weapon a DAM initiative can have, Diamond said. The problem is that too many organizations don't understand this. I'll show attendees ways in which they can make clearer the benefits they offer.
The session, entitled Info Pro Skills for the Future, will also feature presentations from Ruth A. Kneale, Systems Librarian for the Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST) at the National Solar Observatory, and Deb Hunt, Library Director of the Mechanics' Institute.
