Commercial AV Cable

Belden will showcase their Commercial AV line of cable, including HD coax, Mini Hi-Res RGB, Audio, and Automation/Control cable. Headlining the new products is the new commercial-grade HD and RGB Coax, which feature a bonded foil, making termination easier with one-piece compression BNC connectors. Specialized cable constructions for media automation and lighting control have also been added to the Belden portfolio. Belden will be demonstrating an integrated package of AV and data transport systems over copper and/or fiber to answer the needs of customers now and in the future as they migrate into IP solutions.

Commercial AV Connectivity

ProSNS Connector Family. Belden is launching a new series of F, RCA, and BNC plenum connectors under the ProSNS brand. Installations in Commercial and Residential AV, security, and broadband markets will be a snap, thanks to the low compression force associated with traditional Snap-N-Seal connectors along with the patented non-blind entry with floating pin design from F-Conn. All pre-existing Cable Pro tools are compatible with ProSNS making it the most broad and diverse product offering under the Snap-N-Seal umbrella.

PPC's Perfect Path Locking HDMI was developed due to the challenges faced by the commercial Cable TV/Satellite industries with HDMI performance and reliability with the connector itself: the HDMI connector's tiny pins can become disengaged, causing errors and even a total loss of signal. The solution is the Perfect Path patented Locking HDMI Connector, with more than four times the holding retention of conventional HDMIs.

AVB Switching

Hirschmann's prototype AVB switch is designed to meet the new Ethernet standard IEEE 802.1BA-2011, specifically aimed at broadcasters and other audio and video professionals. It features ultra-low latency (2 ms maximum through seven hops) and timed bit streams, where a grand master clock in the switch will align any number of audio channels with nanosecond accuracy.

Media Conversion, Transceivers, Multiviewer Technology - Miranda Technologies

Terrapin was designed for those customers that need something more than just media conversion. It is a hand-held device that allows the user to direct video traffic via optical or electrical input and allow those paths to either be distributed up to six inputs on the electrical side or be used as a re-clocking and optical regeneration circuit.

CopperHead Pro. Now featuring a versatile return video path, the latest camera-mountable fiber optic transceiver system now provides a new analog return video path. This can be used for return program video or for a gunlock signal. It can also be used in multicamera, studio-style applications. CopperHead Pro offers a versatile and affordable solution that leverages the light weight, high reliability, and superior quality of fiber cable for producing high-quality HD big-screen or multicamera productions.

Kaleido-MX/Kaleido-Modular-X is a class-leading multiviewer series engineered to combine performance with weight, space and power efficiency. These products extend that leadership with no-compromise video scaling quality that delivers true any source, anywhere processing: place any signal on any display at any size without blocking or bandwidth limitations. Sources can repeat on up to four different displays without the need for an additional multiviewer.
