Decimator Design has launched two new products to extend their multiviewer range.

DMON-16S (ETA April): The portable DMON-16S is a 1 to 16 channel multiviewer with SDI and HDMI outputs for 3G/HD/SD, including custom layouts, UMDs, audio meters, graticules and tallies.

Low latency buffering allows non-synchronous inputs, with each independent window able to display any 3G/HD/SD format of any frame rate simultaneously. Multiview layouts are fully customisable, with various standard layouts also available for selection. Positioning and size of the 16 character UMDs and 8 channel audio metering overlays are also customisable. Other features include 32 GPI on 37-pin D-SUB for Tallies and remote switching. RS422/485 is also available on the 37-pin D-SUB for Dynamic UMD and Tallies using TSL protocol.

DMON-16SL (Shipping Now): A Lite' version of the DMON-16S, the DMON-16SL is a low-cost 1-16 channel multiviewer with HDMI output, for 3G/HD/SD, including custom layouts.

Low latency buffering allows non-synchronous inputs, with each independent window able to display any 3G/HD/SD format of any frame rate simultaneously. Multiview layouts are fully customisable, with various standard layouts also available for selection. Output format is selectable in both full-Screen and multiviewer modes. Customisable Fixed Identifier overlays are available per window, with additional Audio ID overlay.

The DMON-16S and DMON-16SL are truly portable multiviewers that incorporate a new easy-to-use LCD screen and button control system. This gives easy access to the outstanding features without using complicated LED/button controls, dip switches, or having to carry around a computer to change a simple setting.
