Logicworks Improves Time to Revenue with VMware Network Virtualization Network Virtualization Helps Healthcare-Focused Cloud Service Provider Accelerate Customer Rollouts PALO ALTO, Calif., May 13, 2013 VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, today announced Logicworks, a cloud computing and managed hosting provider based in New York, is using VMware network virtualization to accelerate business velocity. VMware network virtualization simplifies customer onboarding for Logicworks, enabling the cloud service provider to bring on more customers in less time while lowering both operational and capital expenses.

Logicworks specializes in private, public and hybrid cloud solutions for a broad array of industries, including a cloud offering focused specifically on the emerging healthcare market. In healthcare, each application requires a different and unique infrastructure. VMware network virtualization enables Logicworks to be flexible in meeting app-specific infrastructure requirements in a fraction of the time it would take to deploy applications using traditional, physical infrastructure. VMware network virtualization enables Logicworks to dynamically create virtual networks that are completely decoupled and independent from the physical network hardware.
