THE SPORTSCASTER'S NET WORTH The sports personality Robert Marawa reportedly has a million rand net worth and has accumulated this incredible wealth from his radio and TV career in the media industry. ZAlebs reveals that his net worth is estimated to be between $7-8 million (R139 million).
The media personality, who is known for his sports show Warawa Sports Worldwide also his own Sports TV channel on YouTube called Marawa TV and recently launched his book Gqimm Shelele: The Robert Marawa Story in 2022,

ROBERT MARAWA: CAREER Robert Marawa began his TV career in 1996 as a continuity presenter at SABC1. He transitioned to sports reporting for SABC's Soccer Laduma, then later hosted Soccerzone and also hosted SABC2's boxing show Blow by Blow.
Newsunzip reports that he covered the FIFA world cup in France in 1998, joined Supersport in 2006 and bagged a sports show Extra Time with Robert Marawa and Thursday Night Live with Robert Marawa.

The sportscaster later hosted a 30-minute show Discovery Sports Centre on SABC's radio station Metro FM and also hosted 083 sports@6 with Robert Marawa on the same radio station.
City Press reported in 2022 that he was fired from his show on SABC's Metro FM in July 2017, was fired once again from another show on SuperSport in 2019, and fired again from his popular show Marawa Sports Worldwide, which was broadcast simultaneously on Metro FM and Radio 2000 in 2021.
The sports broadcaster has reportedly revealed in his new book, Gqimm Shelele: The Robert Marawa Story, that he was fired on all occasions due to third parties.
His popular show returned later in 2021, and is broadcasted on Vuma FM, Sowetan Live, Rise FM, and is now also available on 947.
