Intellitix joins forces with Electric Castle festival to deploy cashless payment technology posted: 06/06/2016
The fourth edition of Electric Castle features a full roster of incredible acts and activities including over 170 artist performing on eight stages across four days to include Sigur Ros, Skrillex, Bastille, Bring Me The Horizon, Gorgon City, Gui Boratto, Elliphant and many more.
This year's Electric Castle will be using innovative RFID Access Control and Cashless Payment solutions to enhance the festival experience for 100,000 event goers
Intellitix are providing a number of enhancements to the festival including an Electric Castle cashless website, where ticket holders can create an online profile and conveniently add funds onto their cashless account in advance and during the event. Guests will also have the ability to enable the Auto-Top-Up feature, which automatically recharges the guest's cashless account when the balance falls below a certain threshold amount. Top-Up Stations will be located throughout the event site to add more funds to their account using cash, debit or credit card.

Our ambitions are to improve the experience of each and every one of our festival-goers and through speedy purchases via the RFID wristbands we will be able to reduce queue times and increase convenience for all, meaning more time to explore the amazing line-up and programme we've put on for everyone!
Intellitix's Head Pilot, Serge Grimaux, comments: It is always exciting to deploy our services for the first time in a new country! Romania will be the 18th border we cross, and what better way to introduce our solutions than at the Electric Castle Festival; it's a magical event! Its rate of growth over the past few years seems to be superior to ours, and this is not something we have encountered often! We are truly looking forward to bringing a fully Cashless RFID environment to all these fans!
The Cashless Payment system is simple to use and any leftover credit will be refunded to the patron after the event, subject to a refund processing fee. All transactions are recorded digitally in real-time and emailed to registered guests for full transparency.
Romanias leading live electronic music festival, Electric Castle, will provide 100,000 festival-goers with high tech RFID wristbands for fast and secure entry through the event gates and camping sites. The RFID wristbands will also be used as digital wallets for guests to make speedy purchases for all food, drink and merchandise on-site, making for a pain-free and seamless experience. This year's Electric Castle is a fully cashless festival, delivering benefits to guests including significantly reduced queue times, increased convenience and enhanced security. Electric Castle takes place from 14th - 17th July in the breathtaking grounds of B nffy Castle, Romania.
