Following a soft launch of a 24/7 sports-focused channel this summer, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service fuboTV has officially gone wide with its new fubo Sports Network.

The fully ad-supported network, which has been available on fuboTV for the past couple of months, is now expanding its distribution footprint to add availability on LG Channels powered by XUMO, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, XUMO, and fuboTV's standard base package.

The network enters the fray with a healthy dose of quality media partners. The network has content and technology partnerships in place with FanDuel, USA Today, VSiN, The Players Tribune, Stadium, and others. On Monday, Fubo also unveiled the cream of the crop of its original-programming offering, which includes fubo Sports Network's flagship news program, Call It a Night With Julie Stewart-Binks (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 p.m. ET), and some soccer-related programming in The Players Lounge With Cobi Jones and PJ Harrision (Wednesdays, 8 p.m.) and The Cooligans (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m.).

We know that sports are the most engaged live events in the world, said David Gandler, co-founder/CEO, fuboTV, in an official release. However, we saw a lack of sports coverage on a free-to-consumer basis. The concept for fubo Sports Network was conceived only in March, and I'm proud that our team came together in just a few short months to launch a new network to fill that void.

fuboTV also had made some notable behnd-the-scenes talent acquisitions to bolster its presence in the sports-media space. Perhaps most notable is the addition of Pamela Duckworth, an award-winning executive producer, who will serve as head of fubo Sports Network and original programming.

I truly believe that fuboTV is changing the game from a distribution standpoint and am excited to bring to life our unique vision of original content with fubo Sports Network, Duckworth said. David Gandler is a true visionary, and I'm honored to join him in transforming the video landscape.

Duckworth is also the founder of Duckworth Entertainment, a full-service creative-marketing-production company based in NYC and L.A. She was previously a consultant with fuboTV and now assumes responsibility of building fuboTV's first in-house production team and leading its original-programming development.

As the network broadens its distribution and kicks off its bolstered programming slate on Monday, fubo Sports Network will also feature a load of programs from its partners, including Hurry Up and More Ways To Win (sports-gambling programming produced by FanDuel and TVG); Baseball Stories (from Stadium); The Real Athlete, How It Happened, and For the Record (by The Players Tribune); SportsPulse, What I'm Hearing, and For the Win (from USA Today); and VSiN Best Bets (from VSiN).

There will also be plenty of live game programming, including Univision Liga MX soccer matches, IMG cycling, and horse racing from TVG.

Our goal with fubo Sports Network is to deliver edgy, fun, and informative talent-driven programming 24/7 to sports fans everywhere, says Gandler. Our content and distribution partners quickly understood the value in fubo Sports Network, and we're already seeing heavy interest from advertisers who are looking to integrate with the brand and our talent. Now we're ready to take fubo Sports Network to the fans. We're just getting started.
