With the temporary closure of all cinemas nationwide, movie fans can still enjoy 2020's Hollywood, Asian and local blockbuster hits including Mulan, Peninsula (Train To Busan), Vanguard, Tenet, Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal and more, on Astro Best and Astro First as well as stream On Demand and Astro GO.
The hottest cinema releases of 2020 will be available for the whole family to rent and stream for an unlimited number of times over 48 hours from RM10 per title including:
Hollywood action-drama film, Mulan, a live-action adaptation of animation film of the same name, about an epic tale of China's legendary warrior, directed by Niki Caro, starring Liu Yifei, alongside Donnie Yen, Tzi Ma, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Ron Yuan, Gong Li, and Jet Li.
Vanguard, Chinese action-adventure super-spy thriller film in Mandarin and English, directed by Stanley Tong, starring action superstar Jackie Chan, Yang Yang, and Miya Muqi.
Korean action horror film, Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula, the nail-biting sequel to the post-apocalyptic Korean zombie thriller Train to Busan' which captivated audiences globally, directed by Sang-ho Yeon, starring Dong-Won Gang, Jung-hyun Lee, Re Lee and more.
Award-winning local animation blockbuster, Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal, directed by Adam Amiruddin, Syed Nurfaiz Khalid Syed Ibrahim and Ahmad Razuri Roseli. This film bagged numerous awards locally and internationally, including Singapore and Canada; was nominated at the 2019 Academy Awards for Best Animated Film'; and raked in a box office collection of RM26million locally.
Tenet, science-fiction action film set in the world of international espionage, directed by award-winning director Christopher Nolan, featuring popular cast including John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Cl mence Po sy, Himesh Patel and more.
Scoob!, the first full-length animated Scooby-Doo adventure for big screens, directed by Tony Cervone and starring the voices of Will Forte, Gina Rodriguez, Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Mark Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and more.
Hollywood superhero horror film, The New Mutants, based on the MARVEL comic series, X-Men, directed by Josh Boone from The Fault in Our Stars', and starring Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton and more.
