Basque Audiovisual presents a global catalog and cross-platform in the Asia TV Forum El mercado, puerta hacia el Sudeste asiatico y Ocean a, se celebr del 3 al 6 de diciembre en el Centro de Exposiciones del Marina Bay Sands de Singapur.
Basque Audiovisual ha estado presente en el principal mercado televisivo del sudeste asi tico, el Asia TV Forum, que se celebr en el Sands Expo & Convention Center de Singapur, del 3 al 6 de diciembre. Es la primera vez que una delegaci n de empresas vascas, bajo el paraguas de Basque Audiovisual, participa en este evento comercial, en el que se re nen m s de 4.000 profesionales del sector.
El Asia TV Forum (ATF) est considerado como la puerta de aceso al Sudeste asi tico y a Ocean a. Durante las cuatro jornadas de duraci n del mercado, est previsto que las empresas y profesionales consoliden las actuales tendencias detectadas en el mercado, y que pasan por la apuesta por el transmedia -producci n para todas las plataformas existentes-, el branded content y el merchandising asociado a los productos.
La presencia de la delegaci n vasca en el ATF, liderada por Eiken-Cluster Audiovisual de Euskadi y que ha contado con la colaboraci n de la Diputaci n Foral de Bizkaia, BEAZ, y el Gobierno Vasco a trav s de la SPRI, supone el colof n al trabajo desarrollado durante la semana anterior y en la que se han llevado a cabo diversas reuniones con los principales agentes del sector audiovisual de -Singapur, como Media Development Authority, la Universidad de Singapur NUS, la Asociaci n de Productoras Independientes de Singapur, AIPRO, Digipen o las empresas Games Solution Centre, Oak 3 Films, Tiny Island e Infinite Studios.
De esta manera, las empresas vascas participantes en la misi n (Baleuko, Basque Films, Basque Stream, EiTB, Pausoka, Sugar Factory, The Blackout Project, Vicomtech-IK4 y Tecnalia), han podido acceder a la realidad de un mercado altamente desarrollado y en el que se han detectado oportunidades de colaboraci n y negocio.
Seg n ha destacado la directora de Eiken, Itziar Mena, la misi n vasca se ha acercado a la realidad del sector Audiovisual y Media de Singapur y hemos tenido acceso a las estrategias de la Administraci n, as como a las l neas de investigaci n de Digital Media de la Universidad Nacional de Singapur, a las empresas productoras y empresas de videojuegos y New Media, y tambi n al sistema de incubadoras y a los Centros de Producci n integral que funcionan en Singapur .
En general hemos tenido una buena acogida y hemos detectado posibilidades reales de colaboraci n con Singapur donde el contacto personal es el paso previo para los negocios , ha destacado Itziar Mena.
Una de las principales caracter sticas del mercado de este peque o estado, y que resulta asimilable desde la perspectiva vasca es la noci n de que el mercado local no es suficiente y, por eso, las empresas est n muy internacionalizadas y abiertas a la colaboraci n .
Asimismo, se ha detectado una confluencia de intereses mutuos entre las industrias de ambos pa ses, ya que las empresas de Singapur pueden convertirse en la puerta hacia Asia , puesto que est n habituadas a trabajar para los mercados de la regi n; y las empresas vascas cumplir an el mismo papel en Europa. De hecho, en las reuniones mantenidas se han detectado oportunidades reales de colaboraci n.
La misi n, que comenz el 28 de noviembre y finaliz el viernes 6 de diciembre, ha supuesto un paso sustancial en la consolidaci n de la estrategia de internacionalizaci n de Eiken para el Audiovisual Vasco. Hasta el momento, Eiken ha llevado a cabo misiones comerciales a mercados audiovisuales avanzados, como es el caso de Holanda, Israel e Irlanda, y aspira a identificar nuevas oportunidades de negocio en los mercados exteriores.
