Date: 2013-01-17 Bergen-Based Company Will Serve as Exclusive Distributor of Digigram AQORD and AQILIM Products in Norway
MONTBONNOT, France Jan. 15, 2013 Digigram today announced that Steffensen Multimedia will serve as the exclusive distributor of the companys AQORD and AQILIM video encoding/transcoding product lines in Norway. Steffensen Multimedia will leverage new and existing relationships with OTT and IPTV operators, small and mid-sized broadcasters, government agencies, educational institutions, production companies, and telcos to bring these Digigram systems into a broad range of applications.
With the ability to provide our customers with solutions and video products from Digigram, we strengthen our own position as a solution provider, said Aleksander Steffensen, managing director of Steffensen Multimedia. Digigrams line of video products excels in several areas, and the companys commitment to supporting those products in every use case makes it an attractive and reliable partner.
Steffensen Multimedia focuses on new technology and innovative ways to contribute and distribute video while still keeping a foot in the A/V realm. The companys staff, who have been trained on the AQORD and AQILIM lines at Digigram headquarters, will build on their extensive experience and wide array of contacts in the broadcast, A/V, and IT sectors to sell and support Digigram systems into applications including faith-based IPTV, broadcast contribution, corporate event streaming, government video streaming, and OTT delivery.
We began targeting the international video market last year, and were building on that effort by establishing operational contacts in northern countries such as Norway, said Edouard Winckel, EMEA sales manager at Digigram. Its important to be distributed by a regional company, and we are confident that Steffensen Multimedia will play a key role in our larger move to extend awareness and adoption of Digigram products.
