Val Morgan today announced the return of the Australian Creative Excellence Showcase for 2013. With the next ACES being held in September, Val Morgan is now encouraging entries for the best locally produced creative.

Held twice a year, the ACES celebrate outstanding creative advertising in Australian advertising and are proudly bought to you by Val Morgan Cinema Advertising Network in conjunction with AdNews and Adstream. The ACES recognise the best Australian made campaigns and are open to commercials that have appeared on Cinema or TV.

Launched in March 2012, the ACES have gone from strength to strength with a significant increase in the number of entries into each ACES awards.

Damian Keogh, Val Morgan CEO said, Since launching last year the ACES have gone from strength to strength and are a great showcase of the high quality and standard of the creative work being produced. The ACES attract a broad variety of entries ranging from small brands with limited budgets right through to big brand commercials from award-winning creative agencies. The March 2013 ACES were a huge success and as the momentum continues to build we anticipate that entries into the September 2013 ACES will be even stronger .

The ongoing success and credibility of Val Morgan's Australian Creative Excellence Showcase has earned the ACES inclusion into the authoritative and highly respected AdNews Agency Rankings. This inclusion puts the ACES alongside renowned local and international programs such as Cannes, the Caxtons, the MFA's, the Effies, the Festival of Media and the Glossy's among others.

These points for the AdNews Agency Rankings are highly sought after and will only help the ACES surge forward in the future added Keogh.

The winning commercial is awarded the prestigious Ace of Excellence trophy, a cinema media schedule to the value of $25,000 and a private Gold Class screening for the winning company. The ACES are free to enter and open to all locally produced creative that has appeared on either Cinema or TV in Australia in recent months.

Rob Belgiovane, Executive Creative Director, BWM will again chair the judging panel and the ACES jury members will be announced over the coming weeks.

The ACES awards will take place in Sydney on the 4th of September at Gold Class Event Cinemas George Street. Entries are now open and close 16th August 2013.
