Netflix announced today the release ofSantofor September 16, the first Spanish fiction filmed between Spain and Brazil, produced by Nostromo Pictures for Netflix.

Created by Carlos L pez (Hache, El pr ncipe, La embajada) and directed by Vicente Amorim (A Divis o, Romance Policial: Espinosa, Copa Hotel), Santo is a thrilling police series, a thriller of action and intrigue that at times comes close to horror. It tells the story of Santo, a drug trafficker whose face has never been revealed. Two cops who are after him, Cardona (Bruno Gagliasso) and Mill n (Ra l Ar valo), radically opposed, will have to learn to work together to solve the case and keep their lives safe.

Starring Ra l Ar valo (Antidisturbios, The Fury of a Patient Man, Black Beach) and Bruno Gagliasso (O S timo Guardi o, Rising Sun, Ambitious Women). Victoria Guerra (Auga seca, 3 mulheres), Greta Fern ndez (Elisa & Marcela, A Thief's Daughter), Luiz Felipe Lucas (Jailers, Confiss es M dicas) and Mar a V zquez (Eye for an Eye, Mar a y los dem s) complete the cast.
