Amazon Restaurants Launches Free One-Hour Delivery on Prime Now in Atlanta

Prime members in Atlanta can now enjoy delivery from local restaurants, including Aviva by Kameel, Chai Pani, Flip Burger, Flying Biscuit, Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Varasano's Pizzeria, and many more

Amazon Restaurants offers free one-hour delivery to Prime members with no menu markups; Customers pay the same price as they do at the restaurant or Amazon will refund the price of the item

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun. 7, 2016-- Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced that Prime members in Atlanta can now enjoy free one-hour delivery from local restaurants, including Aviva by Kameel, Chai Pani, Flip Burger, Flying Biscuit, Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Varasano's Pizzeria, and many more. Using the Prime Now mobile app or by visiting the new Prime Now website, Atlanta customers can view participating restaurants, browse menus, place orders, track the status of their delivery, and watch as their delivery driver travels from the restaurant to the delivery address in real time.

Whether you're looking to enjoy great southern cooking or have a craving for some Mediterranean cuisine, you no longer have to leave your house or office to enjoy some of the city's best local restaurants, said Gus Lopez, general manager, Amazon Restaurants. Starting today, Prime members in Atlanta can enjoy free one-hour delivery with no menu markups through Amazon Restaurants on Prime Now.

Once an order is placed, Amazon delivery partners deliver the food in an hour or less. Amazon Restaurants offers customers transparent pricing-there are no menu markups or hidden service fees and delivery on all orders is free for Prime members. If a customer finds a restaurant item that is priced higher than the regularly-priced item on the restaurant's current online menu within 24 hours of placing the order, Amazon will refund the customer the price of the item.
