FOX International Channels to launch its first UK Free To Air Entertainment Channel

London, UK - Thursday 3rd September. FOX International Channels UK has announced today it is launching its first Free To Air entertainment channel, YourTV, an exciting addition to its UK portfolio which also includes pay-TV brands FOX, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD and Baby TV. Available on a variety of UK platforms which will be announced in the coming weeks, YourTV launches on Thursday 1st October at 1pm.

YourTV will provide viewers with sensational real-life stories, irresistible experiences and thrilling tales. From uplifting relationship features to shocking accounts of wrongdoing, audacious characters to inspirational advice, YourTV is your daily dose of must-see telly. The channel will air for 20 hours each day across the UK, from 7am until 3am. Primarily aimed at women, YourTV will appeal to anyone in search of absorbing stories that feel both real and yet extraordinary.

YourTV's schedule will be shaped around viewers' daily routines, their moods and viewing needs: brightening up lunchtime with inspirational cookery advice; enhancing an afternoon coffee break with a compelling character-driven story; and adding entertainment to the evenings with sensational real-life tales.

UK premieres on YourTV include CORRUPT CRIMES, a brand new series investigating shocking recent crime stories in scandalous detail. Complete with expert analysis and dramatic storytelling, Corrupt Crimes pulls back the curtain to see what's really going on. Cases include crimes of passion, espionage, treason, government corruption, the black market, piracy, murder, blackmail, conspiracies and more.

Upcoming scripted content includes U.S. legal drama SHARK starring James Woods as hot-shot lawyer Sebastian Stark, who leaves his lucrative career as a defender of rich criminals to join the public prosecution under the District Attorney (D.A.). Although Stark is seeking to redeem himself, he has no intention of cooling his underhanded approach to cases just because he's now working for the good guys.

DON'T TELL THE BRIDE will provide YourTV viewers with uplifting factual stories. Couples hoping to tie the knot are given £12,000 to plan the perfect wedding - with a catch. The groom has to organise everything within three weeks running up to the big day, and is allowed no contact at all with his bride-to-be. From choosing the venue, the wedding dress and organising the hen-do, to arranging the catering, invitations and cake; the bride's fairy tale happy ending lies completely in the groom's hands.

YourTV's schedule will include a range of cookery programmes to inspire and tantalise the taste buds. In BAKING GOOD BAKING BAD, healthy eating expert Harry Eastwood( Cook Yourself Thin) takes viewers on a journey through her home city of Paris - the city of light, love and of course food! In each episode she shows viewers how to make delicious French treats for both saints and sinners alike. Experience a smorgasbord of culinary delights; from saintly chocolate mousse cups and skinny bikini tarts, to the gluttonous Parisian profiteroles and sinful banoffe pie.
