The Wife fans will be thrilled to know that actors Mathews Rantsoma, Motsoaledi Setumo, and musician Stoan Seate have joined season three. Fan-favourite stars of the show Mbali Mavimbela, Khanyi Mbau, Mondli Mokhoba, and Zikhona Sodlaka will also return to the telenovela.

MEET THE WIFE' NEW FACES Sowetan reports that Scandal! actor Mathews Rantsoma, Bongo Maffin musician Stoan Seate, and former The Queen actress Motsoaledi Setumo are the newest addition to The Wife's third and final season. Actors Mbali Mavimbela who played Hlomu, Khanyi Mbau who played Zandile, Mondli Mokhoba who played Bhut'Mdala, and Zikhona Sodlaka who played Mandisa will also return to the telenovela.

The last season, which will focus on Naledi, Qhawe's wife is set to premiere in November after filming began this week.

Season three will pick up from season two's storyline where Naledi went missing and the Zulu brothers' crimes were front page news.

The Zulu brothers may have finally met their match in Naledi's family.

Producers also reveal that there'll be a shift in the storyline for season three. We'll see the show extending from the Joburg taxi industry to Royal Thabeng and the North West.

The publication reports that legendary actor Sello Motloung has joined the hit show as Naledi's father Kgosi, while musician Seate will play Sefako, Qhawe's rival for Naledi.

Radio personality and actress Motsoaledi Setumo, who played Mabatho in The Queen will play Naledi's sister Tshidi.

SAFTA nominated actor Mathews Rantsoma, who currently plays Nhlamulo in e.tv's Scandal! will play the character of Tsietsi.

Other stars who've joined the show include Ncebakazi Pilingane, who will play Sambulo's love interest Xoli, and actor Terrence Ngwila, who will play Detective Baloyi.

MORE ABOUT SEASON THREE DStv Award-winning actor Bonko Khoza, who played Mqhele for two seasons is the only cast member who's been replaced with Uzalo star Wiseman Mncube.

The streaming platform has also confirmed the return of fan-favourite Linda Majola, who played Hlomu's twin brother in seasons one and two.

Season three will focus on Doctor Naledi Montsho (played by House of Zwide s Gaisang K Noge) and Zulu taxi driver Qhawe (played by Kwenzo Ngcobo).

Actors Sipho Ndlovu, who plays Sambulo, Thulane Shange, who plays Mqoqi, and Swelihle Luthuli, who plays Ntsika will also get more screen time.
