The Mexican grupo Multimedios chooses cameras LDX 82 Flex to expand their production The network of Mexican stations based in Monterrey will use HD cameras Grass Valley for a variety of news, interviews and music

The Mexican group Multimediawhich currently manages dozens of stations in Mexico and the U.S. Southwest, and it plans to expand its production even more channels and venues next year, has chosen the Chambers of Grass Valley LDX 82 Flex with extended color gamut and HDR capabilities and acquisition in 1080i or 720 p; and the stations base camera XCU Elite that also support HD formats 1080i and 720 p.

Guillermo Franco, senior technical director of Grupo Multimedios, assures that "our first priority is always to create high quality content for our audience. LDX 82 Flex cameras are a great addition to our production environments when we look towards the future of multimedia and Millennium TV."

As the definitive HD camera that covers all standard HD, the LDX 82 Flex offers the best sensitivity in all HD formats, including 1080 p and a wide range of colours, taking advantage of the sensors patented Xensium-FT CMOS that they offer better sensitivity, higher resolution and XDR (extended dynamic range) operations with a total of 15 f-stops. LDX 82 series cameras are compatible with the station base XCU Elite which has a unique patent-pending base. The base can be pre-assembled and precablear in the rack, which guarantees a secure mechanical and electrical connection, and allows that station base XCU will slide easily in and out whenever it is necessary.
