The tv outside broadcasting department of WDR has decided on an EDL-REC 19 Edit Decision List - Recorder with 16 channels and hand-held marker-keypads. The post-production is done in Cologne and relies on the Cloud-Generator service.

The Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) OB will record cuts and transitions from the vision mixer during the live recordings in an easy way. From this, the finished editing decision lists are generated using multi-camera mode and are available for editing the various post event programs. EDL-REC's Cloud-Generator also offers in-house post-production people the option to create EDLs with individual parameters from the raw data. This delivers both very efficient and high-quality post-productions.
