Samart to deliver HD entertainment with surround sound using Dolby Digital Plus Bangkok, December 10, 2013 Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) announced that Samart, one of Thailands information and communication technology solutions and multimedia providers, has selected Dolby Digital Plus™ as the sound technology for its second-generation digital terrestrial television (DVB-T2) set-top boxes. Using Dolby Digital Plus, Thai consumers will be able to experience high-definition digital television up to 7.1 channels of surround sound, designed to transform the way people can enjoy their favorite television programs.
