University of West Georgia Invests in XOS Digital Coaching Platform

XOS Digital, a leading provider of content management solutions and digital coaching technology for collegiate and professional sports organizations, and the University of West Georgia jointly announced that the West Georgia football program has selected XOS Digital to provide the XOS Thunder HD coaching platform.

West Georgia is the first Division 2 football program to purchase the XOS Thunder HD Network solution. The announcement was made by Matt Bairos, CEO, XOS Digital and UWG Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, Daryl Dickey.

This is a huge step for the West Georgia football program, and we could not be more excited to use the same video analysis tools as 90 percent of the top 40 BCS programs, Dickey says. This program will completely streamline our workflow and help us take our program to the next level.

The Thunder coaching network offers high-definition video at a decreased file size, which decreases the time spent capturing, editing and distributing practice and game footage used by a coaching staff. The system enables coaches to enter data, create reports accompanied by video, and distribute them on a shared network. Thunder reports are completely customizable with features including play lists, graphics, play drawings, video skills, hit charts, and cross-tabs.

XOS Thunder HD is used by more than 240 teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA, and is the platform used by recent champions including the University of Alabama football, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins, and the University of Kentucky basketball.

By investing in Thunder technology, the Wolves will now have access to the newest Thunder HD builds and technology upgrades. XOS Digital's newly launched ThunderCloud suite of cloud-based scouting, recruiting and coaching products, including ThunderCloud Scout, Recruit, Playbook, and Exchange, also fully integrate into the Thunder network to further streamline and mobilize workflows.
