Marquis to Partner with Datos Media Technologies at BIT Broadcast

Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software is to partner with its newest reseller Datos Media Technologies at the BIT Broadcast event in Madrid 20-22 May. At the International Audio-Visual Technology Trade Show, Marquis' staff will be on Datos' booth 6D28 to demonstrate the latest capabilities of its archive and retrieval solution Project Parking.

Ben Miles, business development manager, Marquis Broadcast comments: Project Parking is designed to assist its editors to manage their Avid edit storage more effectively and we will be demonstrating the workflow and integration of the solution with both Avid and Object Matrix at BIT for the first time.

In one single application Project Parking gives users the tools to improve the efficient use of their edit storage - reducing capital expenditure on additional edit storage and improving the reliability and speed of archiving. Project Parking works by analysing all Avid projects and media so that editors can understand which projects are using up most space and action can then be taken to transfer, archive or delete. As finding large projects, Project Parking can identify unused or duplicate media which can be deleted or archived.
