Dutch Features Joins Breakthrough Entertainment To Secure European Distribution Partners For Theatrical Feature

Chuck Rose-Directed Drama To Star Kris Kristofferson

Producers In Talks With Helen Hunt To Co-Star

TORONTO (July 10, 2013) Breakthrough Entertainment has joined with Dutch Features Global Entertainment to co-executive produce the theatrical drama Joe's Mountain, it was jointly announced by Marina Cordoni Vice-President of Movies for Breakthrough Entertainment and Pim van Collem, President of Dutch Features Global Entertainment.

Dutch Features will team with Breakthrough in order to secure European distribution partners for the film to be directed by Chuck Rose (Side Effects, The Elevator). The producers have signed Kris Kristofferson for the film and are in discussions to cast Academy Award-winning actress Helen Hunt. Production will take place in Canada.

Joe's Mountain casts Kristofferson as a former ladies man who becomes a local celebrity when his dreams of future events suddenly start coming true. When he meets a beautiful, younger woman and her dying son, his new powers are put to the test as they embark on a road trip to find a mysterious lake that will change all their lives.

Producer of the film is Henry Boger, whose credits include HAVEN, starring Orlando Bloom and Zoe Saldana; EVEN MONEY, starring Kim Basinger, Danny DeVito, Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta and Kelsey Grammer; CHRISTMAS IN WONDERLAND, starring Patrick Swayze and Tim Curry; HOLLYWOOD AND WINE, starring Chris Kattan, David Spade and Pamela Anderson; and GUNS, GIRLS AND GAMBLING, starring Christian Slater, Gary Oldman and Dane Cook.

Joe's Mountain is a magnificent story with compelling and unique general audience appeal. Kris Kristofferson is perfectly cast in the lead role and we are delighted to be in talks with Helen Hunt.
