Ningbo s total export-import volume surps RMB 00 billion in H of 04

According to the latest statistics published by Ningbo Customs, the total volume of Ningbo's exports and imports in the first half of 2014 was RMB 301.96 billion yuan, up 0.7% compared with the same period of the previous year.

Among the volume, imports totaled RMB 97.84 billion yuan, down 7.7% compared with the same period of last year; exports totaled RMB 204.12 billion yuan, up 5.3% compared with the same period of the previous year, realizing an accumulative trade surplus of RMB 106.28 billion yuan.

During the first 6 months of 2014, the 2 biggest export trade partners of Ningbo were the European Union and America, with a total export value of RMB 53.98 billion yuan and RMB 39.37 billion yuan, up 9.4% and 7.2% year on year, respectively

Besides, the export volume between Ningbo and BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) increased 3.5% year on year, with a total volume of RMB 17.54 billion yuan, accounting for 8.6% of the general export value.
