12-07-2012 SGL Group Sponsor of the Day at the Bavarian Derby Scarves for FC Augsburg fans before game against FC Bayern
Donation of 5000 euros for club's work with young players
Wiesbaden/Augsburg, December 7, 2012. SGL Group, namegiver to FCA's stadium and exclusive club sponsor, will be flying the flag for FC Augsburg on December 8. Before the game against FC Bayern, warm scarves will be handed out to the fans and during half-time a huge banner will be displayed on the pitch to symbolize the relationship between the carbon specialists and the club. Dr Reinhard Janta, SGL Group site manager in Meitingen, will present a donation of 5000 euros to Gerhard Wiedemann, Deputy Chairman of the FCA Supervisory Board, for FC Augsburg's work with young players.
Armin Bruch, an SGL Group board member commented: Training of young talent is crucial for future success and not just in sport! As a sponsor, we want to make our contribution to supporting work with the next generation, which is becoming increasingly important. But first of all, we are keeping our fingers tightly crossed for the team in its game against FC Bayern.
