Tenerife acoge la tercera edici n de Bridging The Gap Entre el 16 y el 22 de julio se celebra la tercera edici n de este laboratorio internacional de Animaci n en Tenerife (Espa a) en el que catorce talentos de todo el mundo fortalecer n sus proyectos de animaci n con la asesor a de profesionales de la industria.
Desde este domingo 16 de julio y hasta el s bado 22, la isla de Tenerife acoge catorce talentos de todo el mundo en el tercer laboratorio de animaci n internacional Bridging the Gap (BTG). Creada en 2015, esta iniciativa se propone fortalecer e impulsar a nivel internacional proyectos de animaci n provenientes de todo el mundo y facilitar la creaci n de colaboraciones y redes internacionales.
BTG es organizado en el marco del Programa ACERCA de Capacitaci n para el Desarrollo en el sector cultural de la Cooperaci n Espa ola y con la colaboraci n de la Fundaci n Internacional y para Iberoam rica de Administraci n y Pol ticas P blicas (FIIAPP); gracias al patrocinio principal del Cabildo de Tenerife a trav s de Turismo de Tenerife e INtech Tenerife (Parque Cient fico y Tecnol gico de Tenerife) y la colaboraci n de TLP Tenerife.
Los catorce participantes, seleccionados por la organizaci n entre m s de un centenar de postulantes tras una convocatoria abierta, son talentos de todo el mundo que acuden a la isla espa ola con sus proyectos en desarrollo de serie o largometraje de animaci n. Entre ellos, participan directores y productores de Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Filipinas y Per ; as como varios talentos espa oles.
Clases magistrales
Los seleccionados reciben durante una semana asesor as y clases magistrales por parte de expertos de la industria para el fortalecimiento de sus proyectos. En el plantel se encuentran nombres como la directora del departamento de adquisiciones de cortometrajes de Movistar+ Espa a, Guadalupe Arensburg; el director creativo de Walt Disney Europe, Shamik Majumdar; el fundador y director de la productora y distribuidora Autour de Minuit, Nicolas Schmerkin; el productor y fundador de Walking The Dog, Eric Goossens; o la jefa de adquisiciones de la compa a francesa Indie Sales. Asimismo, estar n presentes el Director de Contenidos Infantiles en RTVE, Yago Fandi o; el productor ejecutivo de Dragoia Media, Manuel Crist bal; y los consultores Paco Rodr guez, de Media Training y Consulting, y Belli Ram rez, co-fundadora de Mr.Cohl y line producer en Zinkia Entertainment.
Adem s del espacio profesional, BTG tambi n ofrece una serie de actividades abiertas a todo el p blico interesado de Tenerife, el viernes 21 y el s bado 22 de julio (previa inscripci n). Entre ellas, destaca la jornada dedicada a la animaci n coorganizada con TLP Innova en la que varios de los expertos dictar n clases magistrales y ponencias.
All se presentar la mesa redonda sobre Youtube y animaci n ofrecida por Nikotx n, creador de la primera webserie espa ola C lico Electr nico y Enrique V zquez, M nager de tomo Network, la comunidad para artistas y creadores de habla hispana que cuenta con un total de 20 millones de visualizaciones y 250 mil suscriptores en su canal de Youtube; la ponencia del creador de Pocoy Guillermo Garc a Cars sobre c mo crear una animaci n de xito; el case study de The Reward, sobre c mo construir una comunidad on line y una campa a de xito en kickstarter con Charlotte de la Gournerie; o la conferencia de Hern n la Greca, director Senior de Servicios Creativos en Cartoon Network Latinoam rica, quien hablar sobre CarTube Network: Cartoon Network lineal y no lineal.
Asimismo, enfocado en el mbito de industria, BTG organiza junto a Turismo de Tenerife e INTech Tenerife una jornada de presentaciones y networking para el viernes 21 por la tarde en la que participar n los participantes y expertos de BTG junto con empresas y profesionales canarios.
El ltimo d a, el s bado 22 de julio, tendr lugar el pitch final de los proyectos de Bridging the Gap. Esta jornada tambi n est abierta a todo aquel interesado previa inscripci n. En ella los expertos dar n feedback directo a cada participante.
Durante siete d as, Tenerife se convierte as en epicentro de la animaci n y el audiovisual, sectores que la isla viene fortaleciendo a trav s de la implementaci n de diversas iniciativas, como los incentivos para la atracci n de rodajes o los programas de capacitaci n como Animate. En esta l nea, autoridades isle as anunciaron recientemente la celebraci n de la primera edici n de los Premios Quirino de la Animaci n Iberoamericana en el primer cuatrimestre de 2018.
