NAB 2026: OpenDrives To Demonstrate New Storage and Edge Products

OpenDrives will demonstrate new products at NAB Show 2026, with two locations in the West Hall: a pod (W3443-E) in the Sports Business Hub and a cabana at W1158.

OpenDrives Edge

OpenDrives Edge is a hybrid cloud-edge performance accelerator designed for distributed teams working with multi-stream 4K/8K workflows. It facilitates media access and movement between a centralized data hub - cloud storage or an OpenDrives Atlas system - and edge locations. Edge automates bidirectional content movement, pre-fetching required assets to the edge and saving local work back to the central source automatically.

Atlas Platform v2.11

OpenDrives will demonstrate version 2.11 of its Atlas storage and data management platform. Updates include expanded cloud integration supporting Azure and Oracle Cloud, enhanced monitoring and observability for shared storage, enhanced disk lifecycle management, and enhanced SMB audit logging. Atlas now supports configurations based on Dell PowerEdge servers.

Certifying Dell PowerEdge servers through our distribution partnership with Versatile Distribution Services gives media organizations the flexibility they've been asking for, combined with the software performance of Atlas and Astraeus, says James DiVito, VP of Product and Solutions, OpenDrives. By tuning these systems for hybrid storage workflows, we're helping customers avoid the trade-off between overinvesting upfront or outgrowing their infrastructure too quickly. The result is a reliable Tier-1 foundation designed to perform over the long term.

Corporate Creative Solution

OpenDrives will highlight its Corporate Creative Solution, an Atlas-based product for corporate marketing teams and creative agencies, allowing collaborative work on high-resolution media with enterprise IT governance and security.

The company will also demonstrate a new integration with MASV for file transfer directly to and from Atlas.
