Quantel maximizes Genetic Engineering 2 workflow for Pablo Rio La nueva soluci n de almacenamiento compartido aumenta la productividad, el trabajo en equipo y la flexibilidad en entornos de postproducci n.
Quantel acaba de lanzar Genetic Engineering 2. GE2 es la soluci n de almacenamiento compartido de segunda generaci n de Quantel que introduce nuevos niveles de flexibilidad, rendimiento y productividad para el sistema de corecci n de color y acabado Pablo Rio de Quantel. Si el original Genetic Engineering transform la eficiencia en muchas postproductoas, GE2 har lo propio en el mundo mundo multiresoluci n de hoy.
GE2 revoluciona el flujo de trabajo en postproducci n ya que permite compartir al instante compartir proyextos en alta resoluci n entre diferentes suites con flexibilidad total para mover material y proyectos en cualquier momento. Fundamentalmente cada Pablo Rio conectado con GE2 garantiza el rendimiento en tiempo real en cualquiera de las suites implicadas en el proyetco, aunque se trabaje con material a 4K.
GE2 es ideal en instalaciones que suelan trabaajr con proyectos muy inmediatos donde el material est disponible con muy poca antelaci n. Permite que m ltiples suites puedan trabajar en equipo, permitiendo administrar recursos a adiendo m s suites o personal seg n la prisa que corra el proyecto.
GE2 permite que hasta cuatro sistemas Pablo Rio compartan el mismo almacenamiento. Al mismo tiempo, los sistemas de terceros pueden leer y escribir sobre el almacenamiento GenePool v a GenePool Gateway. Pablo PA ase conecta con GenePool Gateway para manejar las tareas de back-office, asegurando que la primera l nea de los sistemas Pablo Rio pasan el m ximo tiempo de cara al cliente.
Hay una gran variedad de posibles configuraciones con GE2, lo que significa que estos sistemas se pueden adaptar para satisfacer las necesidades de flujo de trabajo de cada instalaci n individual. Por ejemplo, el almacenamiento compartido GenePool puede variar desde 18TB para dar soportes a dos suites de producci n HD, a casi 400TB satisfaciendo m ltiples proyectos simult neos 4K o 6K Red Dragon.
Martin Mulligan, director de ventas de Quantel, ha asegurado que el problema n mero uno al que se enfrentan hoy las postproductoras es el flujo de trabajo, y Genetic Engineering 2 ofrece el tipo de flexibilidad y productividad que necesitan para competir en un mercado donde los clientes exigen calidad y rapidez en la misma medida .
