Wowza Adds Telestream Wirecast as Partner in Works With Wowza Program New Partner Program Builds Out Streaming Ecosystem to Provide End Customers with End-To-End Solutions and Improved Streaming Setup

NAB Show 2014, Las Vegas April 8, 2014 Wowza Media Systems, LLC, the leading provider of Simply Powerful Streaming software, today announced Telestream and its Wirecast live encoder as one of the inaugural partners to the newly launched Works With Wowza partner program.

The new Works With Wowza partner program further simplifies streaming by providing customers with tested, integrated, and supported end-to-end streaming components. Works With Wowza partners provide industry-leading technology needed for robust, flexible and scalable streaming to any device. Customers looking to create a streaming solution can receive end-to-end guidance, validation for specific components needed and additional integration.

We've collaborated with Wowza for years, but this new, tighter integration means our customers can get up and running faster, with less hassle, to simplify live streaming set up and management, said Barbara DeHart, VP Desktop Products at Telestream. This is just the first step. We will continue to work on future integrations to further reduce the complexity of media streaming and make it more accessible to wider audiences and our joint solution even more robust.

Wirecast is a cross-platform all-inclusive live streaming production software that lets users capture, produce and encode live streams from any input device, with built-in production software to create dynamic, engaging broadcasts. From there, Wowza Streaming Engine software reliably delivers the content in any format required to any device, anywhere, in the highest possible quality, including output to Content Delivery Networks, mobile devices, connected or Smart TVs, and browser-based viewers.
