Actress Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku, who is the daughter of legendary singers, Bheki Mseleku and Tu Nokwe plays the role of Sihle Biyela in Outlaws.

NIRVANA NOKWE MSELEKU: I LOVE HOW INNOCENT SHE IS' Speaking to Sunday World, the newcomer Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku reveals what attracted her to the Outlaws character Sihle Biyela.

Nokwe-Mseleku tells the publication that she was attracted to the role when she first read the script as Sihle represents a well-rounded view of what it means to be a Zulu girl.

I love how innocent she is, and how the level of her light is also indicative of the level of her darkness.

She adds that Sihle is smart, sensual, kind, and respectful, but also a skilled woman who will take desperate measures in desperate times.

The actress also reveals that she relates to Sihle because they are so alike: Sometimes I go to great lengths, almost to my own detriment. I could see that in her too.

Her character will also do anything for genuine love and she's an intuitive woman and thinks people can manipulate that side of her.

BACKGROUND OF OUTLAWS' ACTRESS Zimoja reports that the Outlaws actress Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku is the daughter of legendary singers, Bheki Mseleku and Tu Nokwe.

Nokwe-Mseleku, who is described as showbiz royalty is also the niece of Mango Groove vocalist Marilyn Nokwe and her grandparents are Durban thespian Alfred Nokwe and opera singer Patty Masuku.

The publication adds that Nirvana began her singing professionally when she was just four years old with legendary musicians Busi Mhlongo and Bra Hugh Masekela.

She portrayed a role of Mbali in the International Emmy-nominated crime series Reyka, alongside actors Kim Engelbrecht, and Thando Thabethe before appearing in Outlaws.

Following her stint on Reyka, the newcomer has scored a leading role in Showmax's new series Outlaws.

She plays Sihle Biyela, the Juliet-esque character who falls for the boy from a rival family.
