Our watch folder is easily configured through our user interface. Select a source location from RackSpace Cloud Files, S/FTP, DropBox, or Amazon S3. Then, tell us how frequently to check your watch folder. How many output formats do you need? Let us know and we'll generate them all. It's almost unlimited! Set your output destination also from Cloudfront, S/FTP, DropBox, or Amazon S3, and we take care of the rest. We'll automatically monitor (or watch!) your watch folder for new content and start encoding it at the intervals you specify.

Our desktop uploader not only makes things really easy, it makes things super fast as well. By leveraging our integration with Aspera's FASP technology, we achieve speeds up to 100x faster then FTP uploads. Now that's fast! To use the desktop uploader just follow a few simple steps. Use your Encoding.com User ID and API key to login. The drag and drop up to 10 files into the application window. The files will begin uploading and processing immediately! Then all of your completed files will be available through our web interface. It's that easy!
