Registration and Sponsorships Open for 4K 4Charity at IBC06

Elemental Technologies, the leader in software-defined video solutions, today announced open registration for the 4K 4Charity Fun Run, which takes place 7:30am on Saturday, September 10 at Amstel Park, Amsterdam in conjunction with IBC2016. Sponsorship opportunities are now available and participant registration is open at www.4K4Charity.com

Registrations have doubled for each event in this series, and total gross donations now top $250,000 (USD). Highlights from the 4K 4Charity Fun Run at IBC2015 can be enjoyed in this video. Among the sponsors for the 4K 4Charity Fun Run at IBC2016 are industry leaders Aspera, an IBM Company, Verimatrix, Dolby, ChyronHego and Xstream, and media partners NewBay Media Europe and Rapid TV News. The 4km (2.49 mile) running and walking event begins at 7:30am and loops through Amstel Park, at the southeast corner of the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre complex. After completing the run, participants can celebrate the event over light snacks and beverages.

All proceeds from 4K 4Charity Fun Run registrations will be donated to Heifer International, an global charitable organisation that helps bring sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty and to Jeugdsportfonds, a local Amsterdam charity that offers sports opportunities to children 4 to 18 years of age whose families do not have the financial resources to pay for an athletics club membership.
