Spectra Logic's Betsy Doughty Recognized as a CRN 2013 Channel Chief 20 Feb 2013

Spectra Logic, celebrating more than 30 years of data storage innovation, today announced that Betsy Doughty, Spectra Logic's director of channel and partner development, has been named one of UBM Tech Channel's CRN 2013 Channel Chiefs. This is the third year in a row that Doughty has received this honor.

This prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.

CRN's honor recognizes Doughty's success in growing the SpectraEDGE program, which accounts for more than 80 percent of Spectra Logic's annual revenue. In 2012, she grew the program by 10 percent or more each quarter by strategically targeting key partners around the globe. She guided the company's efforts to increase the number of joint marketing activities, including events, advertising and trade show sponsorships, and has implemented new initiatives including a mobile application to more easily communicate with Spectra Logic's reseller partners.

It comes as no surprise that Betsy has once again been honored by CRN as a 2013 Channel Chief. Over the past six years, she has been instrumental in growing our SpectraEDGE program, and has ensured that our channel partners are well positioned to successfully sell our innovative data storage solutions, said Molly Rector, executive vice president of product management and worldwide marketing at Spectra Logic.
