Serialized on the official Weekly Shonen Magazine app, Magazine Pocket, the manga has distinguished itself in the shonen genre, selling over five million copies as of June 2025.

Anticipation for the series has reached new heights, with the official X account gaining 80,000 followers even before the first episodes premiere, and the trailer amassing over 2.4 million views. We are thrilled to unveil a second stunning piece of key art and a new trailer, along with the announcement that Tatsuya Kitani will perform the opening theme song, while Reira Ushio sings the ending theme.

About The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity

STORY This story unfolds in a particular town where two infamous schools are in constant dispute: Chidori High, a boys school primarily attended by students with challenging academic records, and its neighbor, Kikyo Girls High, known for its students hailing from wealthy and prestigious families.

One day, Rintaro Tsumugi, a second-year student at Chidori with a fierce appearance but a gentle heart, is assisting at his familys patisserie when he meets a customer named Kaoruko Waguri. Rintaro cherishes his interactions with Kaoruko, as she doesnt judge him based on his looks. However, this serene connection is abruptly shaken when Rintaro discovers that Kaoruko is actually a student at Kikyo. This revelation sets the stage for their challenging journey, as they strive to overcome the societal barriers imposed by their schools and environment, seeking to carve out their own path.
